Santiago Salazar born April 24, 1994 died December 26, 2017. Santiago is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Emilia, his daughter Ruby, and sons, Jimmy and Alex.  He is survived by his daughters, Doris and Husband Larry, Ester, Peral, Lucy and husband Johnny, Kathy, Rose and Peggy. He also survived by his Sons, David and wife Linda, Willie, Michael and Danny as well as  lots of grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren,  He leaves behind many other family members and lots of friends.   Santiago was an Ironworker for over 30 years who helped built some of NM's attractions one being the Albuquerque Tram.  Santiago was very kind, hardworking and loving. He was also a jokester.  He loved the casino and loved to dance.  He was a man of faith who loved to pray the Our Father in spanish.  He loved camping, fishing, and the Sandia Mountains where he had a beautiful view from his home.  He also had a collection of watches, He just loved his watches.  He was loved by so many and will be missed tremendously.  A viewing be held on Friday January 5, 2018 at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will also be a service at Placitas Presbyterian Church Saturday the 6th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
