Charles M. Finegan is the Owner of Riverside Funeral Homes and New Mexico Mortuary Service. He is a second generation Funeral Director, following in the footsteps of his father, Mr. Paul Finegan. He is dual licensed in both New Mexico and Texas. Charles, “Charlie”, as he is better known, is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoys building Muscle Cars and riding his Harley Davidson. It is his goal to provide affordable dignity to his customer families, and to ensure his employee families are taken care of as well.
Chris Trujillo was born and raised in Socorro, NM where his Mother and Father were very active members of the San Miguel Church and his Father, Mike A. Trujillo, was a Judge for 23 years. This is where Chris became interested in law enforcement. Chris proudly served his Country as a member of the New Mexico Army National Guard for 13 years as a Military Police Officer and most recently retired as a certified Police Officer after 21 years. After a day of work, Chris goes home to his beautiful wife, Felicia and his precious children. They are the loves of his life and he cherishes every moment with them. Chris and his wife Felicia are expecting a child to join their beautiful combined family of nine children. Family is everything to Chris. Chris has always had a passion to pursue a second career in the funeral industry and has worked in every aspect of the funeral industry. Chris was promoted to Funeral Home Manager by Charles Finegan in 2013 and also serves as the Marketing Director for the company. Chris truly enjoys taking care of families and takes great pride in comforting them in their time of need.
Octavia Jobst serves Riverside Funeral Home as an Assistant Office Manager and Funeral Service Intern in Directing and Arranging. She has been a resident of Albuquerque for a little over twenty years having moved here from Colorado. She spent seventeen years prior to joining the Riverside Team as an Office Manager and accountant and brings with her a wealth of experience in customer service. Octavia, fondly referred to as ‘O.J’, is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and in her free time loves to travel, cheer on the Seattle Seahawks and enjoys trying new things. O.J. finds great satisfaction in being able to help families during such a difficult time in their lives.
Terry is a native of the state of Michigan, moving to Albuquerque in 2003. He graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Michigan and went on to attend and graduate from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago, Illinois. Terry has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1984 and is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Terry is the proud father of three sons. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his sons as well as riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Since 1984, providing exceptional care, dignity and service has been his professional passion with the families that have placed their trust in him. .
Jim Edwards has been in funeral service for 41 years and is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. In 1985 he established Albuquerque Mortuary Service, the state's first commercial embalming service. In 1993 Jim established Hillcrest Funeral Home which is now Riverside Funeral Home.

Jim Edwards was President of the New Mexico Funeral Service Association, selected funeral director of the year in 1990, and a charter member of The Funeral Ethics Association.

This long and distinguished career in funeral service is instrumental in providing our families at Riverside Funeral Home the assurance of professional and ethical care.

Michael Monach is the father to one son, Koda. Michael was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and has resided in Albuquerque, NM since 1992. He has lived and worked in many different states thru out his career which has allowed him to have many numerous customer service experiences that span many different levels and cultures. This best suits Michael’s customer’s diverse needs by matching specific Insurance products to the customer’s specific needs.

Michael has a B.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 12 yrs of Mortgage Banking experience with numerous National awards and distinctions, as well as being a multi-million dollar producing broker. Michael as has 32 years of customer service Management.

Michael has been with Riverside Funeral Homes of New Mexico for 10yrs and counting. He has developed the Pre Need Department into a nationally respected and award winning part of Riverside Funeral Home. As a Multi-Line Insurance agent (Life, Health, Accident), NM license #312143, Michael can help with Term life, Universal Life, Disability, Critical Illness, Retirement and Mortgage protection.

Aaron is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has been with Riverside Funeral Home since 2015. Since then, Aaron has obtained his FSI (Funeral Service Intern) License in embalming. Aaron is dedicated to providing the best service to the families he serves. Aaron is a 2015 graduate of Volcano Vista High School and is currently enrolled at CNM striving to earn his degree in criminal justice to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer with the Albuquerque police department and continue to serve his community. Aaron enjoys watching football spending time with his family. Aaron strives to be proficient in all aspects of the funeral service industry and to provide families with exceptional care.
Pat Fullbright has been with Riverside Funeral Home since January of this year. He has six years of transportation experience and dealings with the OMI. He has been married for thirty-two years and has three children. Pats hobbies include fishing, home improvement projects and watching football.
Richard has been a valuable member of the Riverside family since 1997 as a part of the Evening Removal Team. Richard also holds his Intern License in Embalming. In his spare time, Richard enjoys photography and collecting World War II German War Helmets.
Felicia R. Trujillo joined the Riverside Funeral Home family in May 2013 as a Funeral Service Assistant. Felicia is a native of Albuquerque and is a 1999 graduate of Rio Grande High School. Felicia was previosly employed with David's Bridal for 5 years as a Wedding Consultant. She is married to Chris Trujillo and they are blessed with 2 beautiful children but a combined family of 9 children. She loves helping families during services and takes great pride in her job.
Tomas Lee McCloud, V is a lifetime resident of Albuquerque New Mexico. Tomas is a valuable team member of the Riverside Funeral Home Care Facility. He is currently licensed in Arranging/Directing FSI2410 General. Tomas is also accompanied by he's wife of 7 years Mayra G. McCloud. Together they have combined family of 7 children. Tomas & Mayra are dedicated to assisting families during their time of need.
Anna Ivey moved to Albuquerque from Las Cruces, NM in February 2016 to join Riverside Funeral Home as an Administrative Assistant. She has been in the funeral industry for nearly 7 years and training to serve as a Funeral Service Intern. She enjoys working with and helping families in their time of need. In her spare time, Anna enjoys cooking, camping trips, fishing, swimming and being with friends and family.
Gina Terrazas is the Director of First Impressions at Riverside Funeral Home and takes joy in helping families in their time of need. She feels that a smile and a kind word can go a long way and make a difference in how a family leaves Riverside Funeral home.
Gary Redmond is the courier at RFH and takes much pride in his job. Gary has two daughters he enjoys spending time with and cooking for. He really enjoys dancing and considers himself very good at it. Gary plays a huge part in helping families by assisting directors during services. Gary develops a positive rapport with our families due to his big heart and compassionate spirit.
Mason Cates serves as an Mortuary Manager at Riverside’s Albuquerque location. Born in Albuquerque and a graduate of Belen High School, he is new to the Funeral business as also having graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix Arizona as a certified Ford Automotive Technician. His love of learning new things along with his genuine concern of others pushes him to grow and improve both in his customer service and his day to day life. Mason can say with confidence that he is “happy to be part of the Riverside team.”
Amanda Stewart was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi. She recently moved to Albuquerque to be closer to her family. Amanda graduated from Harrison Central High School, in Mississippi, with 'High Honors' in 2004 and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She met the love of her life and future husband, Christopher Stewart, while in high school and they married in May 2008. They have three beautiful boys, Elijah, Tyler, and Landon. Amanda started a job at a small family owned funeral home where she developed a love for helping others in their hardest time. She started only as a weekend receptionist and after a couple months became Administrator to the owner personally. This lead to a very long and rewarding career where she has grown and is now a licensed Funeral Director. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the guitar, and reading.
As a 25-year resident of Albuquerque, Arthur Otero has about 5 years’ experience working for various cemeteries in the area. This is his first time working in a funeral home and is excited to work with families in this capacity. What he most enjoys about his employment is the rewarding feeling of being able to assist grieving families in their time of need.
Jacob Guevara was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a part of the first graduating class of Media Arts Collaborative Charter School. After graduating high school Jacob pursued work in the funeral industry and has worked his way to becoming a licensed intern embalmer. He loves music, animals and rainy days.

Evan Embree is the Media Arts Specialist here at Riverside. He makes the Memorial Folders, DVD's and all other Memorial items needed by Families. He also handles all Photoshop, Editing, and New graphic design elements that are needed for the business. In his free time he is an experienced Craftsmen, a loving cat dad, an OK unicycler, and a failed Violinist. Evan and fiancé, Sammy, are also very excited for their upcoming wedding.

David Howard moved to Albuquerque from Ohio in 1999. He has worked in the funeral service industry for more than 20 years. He likes working with people and providing comfort to those in need. He enjoys working on his 1978 Cutlass in his spare time.

Sabrina grew up in Bernalillo, NM. She has worked in the funeral industry for just over 2 years and has found a passion in being able to help families through her work. In order to better serve the families she works with, Sabrina has begun working on credits toward her degree in Mortuary Science and hopes to graduate in 2022. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching her favorite shows, and spending time with her friends

Jennifer McKinley was born and raised in Albuquerque but spent several years out of state in San Antonio and San Diego. Jen lost her Dad a few years ago which allows her to empathize easily with grieving families. She enjoys spending her extra time with her family, writing screenplays and reading. She is an optimist and believes the key to life is having a positive perspective. Jen loves exploring the world and can hardly wait until her next traveling adventure.

Christina Sandoval has been here with Riverside since December of last year. She is looking forward to continuing her career here and become a Funeral Director one day. She has 4 Children who are her inspiration to doing the best she can and making the best of this life.

Stephen is a native of Albuquerque. He is a natural born caregiver, which is what lead him into the Healthcare profession, specializing in Alzheimer’s/Dementia care. His passion is to travel. Having traveled worldwide has afforded him the opportunity to also volunteer worldwide. His desire has always been to provide care to others with respect and dignity. Working at Riverside Funeral Home has given him the opportunity to provide end of life care with compassion and dignity, and to assist both the deceased and their loved ones.
